After packing everything up and receiving 2 very impressively sized bumps on my head after been bitten by some bug, we jumped on a the bus to Vancouver. We didn't do much when we got into town, but we did meet up with Chris and Michelle for dinner.
The next day just happened to be my birthday and what a superb birthday it was. With Chris and Michelle we rented some cheap mountain bikes to ride around Stanley park and the sea wall around the park.
Pretty much as soon as i jumped on my hire bike i taco-ed my rear wheel doing some jump off a curb or something. The bike was still ride-able, luckily so off we rode. Stanly park is a BIG park with BIG trees, and we also saw some BIG slugs. Later in the afternoon we went to the aquarium which was close to Stanley Park. This place was pretty impressive, lots to see and photograph, my favorite being the jellyfish, Candice's favourite was the Sea Otter. Later on we dropped off the bikes (i snuck my broken bike in) and then went out to dinner. Me and Chris discussed our plan for the next day.
